Huawei, ZTE and other six companies snatch the India BSNL 9 billion U.S. dollars of orders

September 11 - before the Indian company BSNL open tender, for a total 93 million lines of GSM network construction projects to find suitable partners.

The contract value of about 8.5-9 billion U.S. dollars. Ericsson, Nokia, Siemens, Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel - Lucent and Nortel will tender, BSNL will build four regional GSM network.

Goyal said, there are 3-4 against companies which submitted bids in a particular region, while the two companies have announced that will compete at the same time all orders within the region.

BSNL Chairman Kuldeep Goyal said it expects a project orders will be issued earlier in 2009.
